Primary Research
This is an email that we sent to the Sleep Laboratory in Arrowe Park Hospital to see if it was possible for an interview to take place, but because of lack of available time, they had to be fair to others and decline our request.
We were able to contact Liverpool John Moores University and speak with Lynn Sutcliffe and she was able to refer us to the Director of Natural Science and Psychology, Profressor Andy Tattersall.
This is an email followed up from Lynn Sutcliffe who passed our request on to psychology professors around LMJU and we were lucky enough to recieve a reply from a lecturer in psychology called Yvonne Harrison, who had completed research into sleep and the effects of sleep deprivation etc. at Liverpool John Moores University. In which we were successful in setting a date for an interview with her at the university.
This is an email we sent to Andrea Doolan who works as an air hostess which was going to take place but we lost contact with her as she got called away on a long hall flight at the time of our interview.
We also used telephone calls, the internet and emails to contact local doctors and lorry drivers but could not persue interviews with these people as there was limited hours.
